Hello and welcome to Tori's-Report-of-New's-and-Other-Things-That-She-Never-Gets-Around-to-Update. Our most recent news stories are about the murder and slaughter of poor defenseless, precious little squid.These acts have been mischievously going on for years, but today I, Tori, am bringing this animal cruelty to light.
  Today I had a girls night out with the friends that I share this blog with. We went out to dinner at an Italian restaurant so a pizza, salad, and pasta was ordered, but wouldn't you know it? Calamari was ordered as well. For those of you that don't know what calamari is, it is fried baby squid. How do you think these squids were caught? Well, they were probably raised to be slaughtered and deep fried into some meal for these so called "humans".
  This unforgivable act was brought to light just recently to the squid community. Mrs.Myopsida reported feeding her young baby squid before abruptly having the baby snatched away. She never saw her baby again.
  Let us now take a moment of silence in honor of these squid. What frightening last moments they had before going under the knife...forever.

  I WANT TO GO THRIFT STORE SHOPPING. Like, extremely soon. Preferably within the next month. Or week. And I really need to find a Halloween costume. Or better yet, I need to decided on what I want to be for Halloween. Would anyone like to go with me? Is that a YES I hear? Good. Lets go. Now. Yes yes?

The left overs are for costume and random jewelry.

And sense I'm so self absorbed (not really, or maybe a bit, but who isn't?) I am going to throw in a picture of myself :Just kidding, it's just an example of what wonderful things you can get at a thrift shop. No, not me you creepers, the sweater. You couldn't find something like me in a thrift shop. Maybe a fruit stand... or a Tupperware store... or a at a Walleworld (Cassie, this means Walmart)...

This Saturday was probably magical. Or just hilarious. Or classy. Anyways, Lela had asked if I wanted to attend Cat's birthday party and so of course I said sure. We ended up spending a couple hours texting what we wanted to wear/our makeup/hair. Girls should have more themed parties (not the slutty kinds, no offense, Cat's was a genuinely nice one) because dressing up is loads of funsies.

There's a lot of things I love about Fall. I love the weather, the feel, the smell, the color. I love the football games, Hall-O-Ween, my birthday, Thanksgiving.

  OH SWEET SWEET TEDDYBEARS. I've been a bad friend to this journal and i apologize. so much is going on and you guys know that already. i finally got back from san diego (about a month ago haha) and just relaxing and getting used to life again in the summer. im loving it :) sadly though, school is starting next week. ugh. not ready. and not ready to be a junior. well im now going to go off to some random babbleing if you guys are willing to read all of this.

  i love summer :) i love the smell of summer, the feel of summer, and the sight of summer :) its wonderfully refreshing. and to hop into a nice cool pool on a warm day makes it even better. ive been swimming alot and practicing diving.

guess what? MY BIRTHDAY IS COMING SOON :) august 25 to be exact. yupp and i cant wait.

okay so there was boy drama where someone tried to kiss me but it wasnt official (thank petunias) because there was no lip to lip contact and lela knows all about that. dont want to go through that again. ever. well i may kiss someone but hopefully next time its someone that i accually like. urk i get the chill just thinking about it. okay new subject.

i like jason mraz. yes i do :) especially his song word play. i like michael buble too :) and the band called iron and wine.  and the song called cleaning apartment (its intense). liten to them, you will like it :) i promise.

i would like to go shopping too so if anyone feels like doing so anytime soon, just let me know and we can work it out :)

we have so far gone through 5 birds this summer. 3 have died, and i am sad. are birds like fish where they die every week?

So Its finally Time. Its Close. I offically have 4 days left

But i can say with complete confidence that this has been the best summer of my life. I have grown so much from all that i have experianced. What i love about it is, it was not all easy. There was some really really hard times. But all worth it. And i would relive it all again... Well most of it.

I have made a great best friend here :) We seriously bonded so quick on the highest level. I have seen here everyday for 6 weeks, excpt for 3. Yes we got annoyed at eachother at some points. But i love her so much for because of those moments. Its gunna be horrible to not see her as much back in fresno.



And the whole group. im going to miss them a ton! Today is the last day i will see everyone. One last get together for GoodBye Americans. They are such cool people :)






The person who it was the hardest to say bye to, was my host brother felix. He and many others we have met, are still up at the camp which ends friday. the day after we leave. He was a pretty cool kid. Best host brother i could have ever asked for ;)

But All and all. I am every excited to come home because look here.






YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I HAVE MISSED THESE PEOPLE RIGHT HERE. i feel like i have missed out on some major friend bonding. But i know they will be there when i get back. I just hope they have missed me as much as i missed them!!! these people are legit and no one can replace them ;) <3 <3

 It's been a good month now and compared to how I first felt when I slept at our new house, it really has changed. I have this OCD of using things when I'm unfamiliar with it because I get really germophobic, particularly showers and the like. Now that all has almost changed (athough the smell of my parent's room stick kinda makes me feel a little off) there's only a few things I am basically missing.

1) A book shelf
2) A desk

Literally without those things, my room still feels extremely bare. It still doesn't feel like my old room quite yet, it doesn't have that homey feel to it, but it's so close. I think without having those two things, it just makes my room feel like a place where I put my stuff and where I sleep. It isn't quite me yet. Plus, with a book shelf and a desk, it will probably give me the option to add more intricate stuff that will make my room more comfy feeling. I mean, it's pretty good so far, but it still feels empty. 

I don't know. 

Fail.

On a happier note, Jared, Morgan, Heather, and Kevin came over today. We watched the Giant's game although the entire time I was transitioning from a boy to a girl, watching the game and having a girl talk. Then we ended up watching Fight Club where I promptly had my mind blown up. I also am very shocked at the color of the blood, but perhaps that's the color when it is gushing out? AND PRETTY BLONDE BOY GOT BEAT UP SO BADLY. Only sad part. Oh and Bob. They really didn't have to show his shot head. Really. Too much sentences. I'm going to go now. Bye.

At one point in the past week or so I was actually back to watching anime. I was extremely bored and trying to find something to pass my time with, something that would be at least worthwhile. So I watched 15 episodes of a series called Uraboku. And boy. It was an experience.

( NOTE: This is my review of the series, so there will be SPOILERS )

For the longest time (I think about a year and a half ago) my obsession with art whether it was fashion, photography, or just paintings began. But for me, photography and fashion stood out the most. I began getting into websites like lookbook, weheartit (although I began getting upset at this website as it "steals" photos and doesn't credit their creators), and flickr. Which what kinda led me to tumblr, THANK GOODNESS. (Give me a woop-woop, Lela.)

But it began recently (LMFAO I like how I'm making this sound like an epic journey of majestic proportions) that I really, really wanted a little something more. Okay, so $899 isn't just a little something more, but I've recently taken initiative to begin saving up for this bad boy:


Aaaawwwwww yeah. It's the Canon Rebel T21 and that my friends, shall become my 2nd baby, after my ukulele Lily of course. It's chunky goodness, covered in hard, black plastic, created to such gorgeous perfection, all topped with 18.0 megapixels. *shudders in delight* That's literally two times more the megapixels I have on my current Sony Cybershot from 2006.

I showed great strength, trying not to buy as much stuff as I usually do. Woe is me, the consumer. But achieving this camera is going to take a special feat and a lot of patience. And here's the plan to my faithful followers (NOW I SOUND LIKE VOLDEMORT :DDDD)

So Wow. I am living a dream over here!! This dream has not been perfect, its been really hard these past weeks, but its still an amazing one!!!!
 
So First off, i have made so many friends here!! its super sad to think about leaving them! Nils and Addi are so awesome. We hang out with them the most. They really make our parties fun ;) Nele and Joan are the best girls here!!!!! Nele is going to America!! but to South Carolina. Its she is a joy to be around because she is just so nice. and Joan is just so talkative and happy Lisa is the one who made me fill so at home. she always made sure to talk to me, and and helped me talk to others!! She saves me :))) Constanitin and Pascal are just awesomely hilarous. They don't know english very well, so they always talk so slow. It makes me laugh so much. And what they talk about is hilarous. THey freak me out about how they eat kids or have childern as slaves to work the lights! They also plot a lotta things like how we need to break into a public pool at night and have a bbq. Tobi and Hanes are the cute shy guys ;) We did not really get to talk Hanes because he left for the Holidays, but Facebook helps us stay in touch :) and Tobi is so cute!! like adorable sam cute! He is so shy, but once u talk to him, he is the sweetiest little thing ever. We went to the movies with him and he helped translate the whole time.  Lars and Peterr!!! lars is also known as PHILLLIPP LAMM From The germany soccer team. and Peter is just a sweet guy that doesnt talk a lot :)

SOOOOO Those are just a few people we have met here because of school. That doesnt even include the people i have met here because of the Exchange Program!!! Inga and Meline are hosts to Katie and Gerado who go to Clovis High. Inga is so funny. SHe is so peppy and glows with energy. and Meline is just the Cool girl who knows what she wants :) but very very friendly!! Zakky is the host brother to Karston who Goes to Bucannan. Karston is the model of the group. he falls asleep in poses. He is always looking overly cool that makes everyone jealous! ZAkky is the super smart and just one of those caring guys :)

But what about the people i love most on this trip???? Erin Maja and Lydia of course :)))
Lydia is so exuberant (yess i sound smart xD). And she is such a flirt when she is drinking. But she is just a crazy host sister that makes my time here so much fun. Ok so then there is Erin. I love Erin. She goes to Bucanan and I do not think i would have been able to make it through this trip with out her. She is outgoing and thoughtful. Its amazing how easier things are when u have someone to talk to in english!!!! Her host sister Maja is the sweet, shy, caring, loving peron. Well so we first thought. But i guess she knows how to party and is a little bit of a bad girl. DID NOT SEE THAT ONE!!! we are all like our sweet little maja!!!!!!!!
